DEVICES

Removing the Samsung Activation lock using your Samsung device:
-Go to Settings
-Click on Lock screen and security > Find My Mobile
-Enter your password and click confirm
-Click on Disable Reactivation Lock
-Enter Samsung password and click confirm

Removing the Samsung Activation via another device:
- Login to Samsung's Account by clicking here. 
- Click on your Profile and please click on Delete Account option


Removing the Android Activation lock using your device:
PLEASE NOTE: Depending on the specific model of your device, the steps may vary!
- Go to Settings
- Click on Accounts or Users
- Select the account type Google
- You will now see a list of Google accounts linked to your device. Click on the first account
- You should be able to see Sync Settings for the account selected.
- Click on the menu icon (three dots) on the top right corner.
- Click on Remove Account
- Repeat the steps until all the google accounts are removed.

Removing your Android Activation lock via another device:
- Login into your Google Account by clicking here 
- Go to Device activity & notifications under Sign-in and Security.
- Click on Recently Used Devices > Review Devices
- Select the device you wish to remove and click on Remove button next to account access

We have a Reply-Paid account in collaboration with Australia Post allowing you to mail in your device(s) for free!

Simply go to the nearest AU Post, pack your device(s) in a package, write in our reply paid address on your package, and send it in for free! Once we have received your package we will pay for its shipping and after evaluating the device(s) you will be paid within 2-4 hours.

The process of getting a quote is simple and straightforward! Visit our home page and choose the device you want to trade-in. Our system will then guide you through a series of questions until an offer is made. You will also be presented with useful hints to help you during the process.

Your offer is locked in for 21 DAYS starting from the day you submitted a trade-in request. Your offer will expire and becomes subject to a re-quote If we do not receive your device(s) within the guaranteed offer lock period.

We buy the following types of devices:
  • Fully paid-off i.e. not under any financial contract
  • Never been reported lost or stolen
  • Never been blacklisted (applicable to any device with an ESN/IMEI number)
  • Free of any kind of security or access locks. Such locks include iCloud locks, Google Activation locks, passwords, etc.

We will begin the processing of your offer as soon as your devices(s) is/are delivered to us.

No worries! Select a condition that best describes your device. We will evaluate your devices(s) and adjust the offer accordingly once received. Your reevaluated offer price could end up being higher or lower.

Sure! You can cancel your offer at any time before it has been processed and we will send your device(s) back to you free of charge!

Our offer algorithm makes an intelligent offer based on your answers to the questions asked. On arrival, a technician will evaluate your device(s)  and then compare results to your answers at trade-in. Your initial offer price can/may be subject to an increase or decrease based on the assessments of our technicians.

We encourage you to use the BULK SALES form on this website when you want to sell more than 10 devices as our system will not allow you to request a quote.

Shipping is 100% free for all INCOMING packages to PhoneTornado  Simply write in our reply paid address on your package and send it in for free and once we have received your package we will pay for its shipping.

Your devices shipped through AusPost are insured up to $50 in value by default. You are encouraged to purchase extra shipping insurance at checkout if the value of your device exceeds $50. Phone Tornado will assist you as best as we can in the event of an insurance claim. Please note: Phone Tornado will not be accountable for inadequately insured lost/damaged packages.

If your device comes to us in a different state than expected, we will get in touch with you as soon as possible and do our best to resolve the issue. Please, see our terms and conditions for more information.

Payment

Your offer price will be paid through a Bank Check, Paypal or PayID if you shipped you device to us. Your money will be paid soon after your devices(s) has/have been received and processed. We also offer Cash payments to clients who can drop off their device(s).
